Clubs

Clubs (Drivers, Fairways, Hybrids, Irons, Wedges, Putters):

There are no two ways about it golf clubs have become very expensive over the past several years.

Manufacturers would argue this is largely down to research and development efforts on their part trying to improve their performance. To be honest a large part of the cost increase can be put down to the marketing and endorsement budget of the biggest manufacturers.

If you are still using a driver that’s 20 years old then no doubt you are likely to see some improvement in your game if you upgrade to some more modern equipment. My advice would be not to believe all the marketing hype if you already have some reasonably modern clubs that were fit to your swing.

To help you make better buying decisions I’m going to test a wide variety of new and used equipment so you can see if you will get value for money.

If you are new to the game then I have put together a guide on what equipment to buy.
