R&A: Custodians of the game along with the USGA.

USGA: In conjunction with the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews they set the rules we all have to play by.

Professional Tours

PGA Tour: Primarily based in the USA. The one that most pros are aiming to get on!

European Tour: Based mainly in Europe but with events in the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Australia!

Japan Golf Tour: Yes you guessed it. The main golf tour for men in Japan.

Asian Tour: Events in Asia and Australia excluding Japan. Holds a number of co-sanctioned events with the European Tour.

Korn Ferry Tour: Feeder for PGA Tour.

Challenge Tour: Feeder for European Tour.

LPGA Tour: Largest Tour for Ladies with events primarily in the USA.

Ladies European Tour: The European equivalent of the LPGA.

Japan LPGA: The Japanese Ladies Tour.
